This is the vegetarian counterpart of the Chinese young chow fried rice. Black mushrooms are used in place of pork, white mushrooms instead of prawns and the panir (Indian cream cheese) replaces the eggs. Other ingredients are the same as those used in the preparation of young chow fried rice and the method of cooking is also similar.
