Venus’ Belly Buttons

The legend of tortellini goes like this: the lovely Venus, having been denied access to Heaven because of her unchristian status, was left to wander lonely and abandoned in Limbo. In the course of her meandering, she ended up in Bologna, at an inn. (Don’t question the logic of this, it’s only a legend!) She was dutifully shown to her room by the innkeeper, who was inflamed with passion for the beautiful and sad young woman. Once she was inside the room, Venus locked the door and undressed,
