A maceration of strawberries and citrus that produces an intoxicating (not literally) liquid. You will want to lick the bowl.

Ingredients

  • 3 oranges
  • 3 lemons
  • 3 limes

Method

  1. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the zests from the citrus. Scrape off any thick white matter from the inside of the zests. Combine the zests and the sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Juice the citrus and strain out the pits. Add the juice to the zest-sugar mixture and stir. Add the strawberries, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
