On the Pesach (Passover) Seder table of Yotam’s Nonna Luciana you could always count on finding a sliced meat loaf, beautifully presented, studded with pistachios and gherkins. It was served alongside other Jewish-Italian delicacies, such as fried courgettes in vinegar and artichokes fried in olive oil, a creation of the Jews of Rome.
