It’s an old and much-loved trick — layering cream with seasonal fresh or cooked fruit — and it works every single time; but it is much more clever to spike the cream and fruit with additional layers of flavour that rhyme with each other and ‘play games’ with the taste buds. Here we chose fruits that grow in or around Jerusalem and some typical spices. You can opt for one of our combinations or go for something that is local and seasonal to you and enhance it with your favourite sweet spices
