This cake is one of Sami’s childhood favourites. It is essentially a semolina cake soaked in syrup, similar to many other Levantine cakes (SEE SEMOLINA, COCONUT AND MARMALADE CAKE), but the fenugreek gives it a very unusual edge. We haven’t come across it anywhere else.
