  • About

Shakshouka means all mixed up, and it is a divine mixture of ripe flavourful peppers and tomatoes, usually with eggs either scrambled or poached in the mixture. It is a beloved dish of Israelis, especially OF North African heritage. Dishes like this are found all over the Mediterranean with regional variations, such as French pipérade, Greek Strapatsatha, or Turkish memenen.
