This is the recipe I turn to when I want a very quick meal that is elegant at the same time. The marinating, which accounts for all the Preparation Time, can be done in advance, and the cooking time includes 10 Minutes of ‘resting time’. However, you must buy the best and most tender beef fillets.

Ingredients

  • 4 tender beef fillets, about 175-225g (6-8 oz) each
  • salt and freshly gr

Method

  1. Lay the fillets in a shallow dish. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the marinade ingredients and coat the fillets evenly with this on both sides. Then season both sides well with salt and pepper. Marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Drain, discarding the marinade. P
