  • About

Sheets of nori are lightly brushed with sesame oil, sprinkled with salt and toasted to make tasty seaweed wafers. Wrap them around steamed rice or snack on them like chips with a refreshing beverage. You can also try pre-seasoned seaweed sold in packages at Asian grocers.

Ingredients

  • tablespoons dark sesame oil
  • 5 sheets of roasted seaweed (nori), used for rolling sushi

Method

Pour the sesame oil into a small bowl.

Lay a single sheet of roasted seaweed on a cutting board.

With a pastry brush, lightly brush the seaweed with the sesame oil. Sprinkle some salt on the seaweed.

Continue with remaining sheets of seaweed, stacking one sheet upon the other. Press down on the layers. This will season both sides of the seaweed.
