In Korea these rosy hued rice balls are served as a snack. Mixed with dates, pine nuts and chestnuts, the chewy rice is transformed into something naturally sweet and nutritious. You can make the rice mixture into balls to eat as snack, or serve it hot in a bowl as a side dish with roast pork, chicken or turkey.
