Method

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon for about 6 minutes, turning, until crisp. Using tongs, transfer the bacon to a plate, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
  2. Add the bacon grease to the skillet and let it melt.
  3. Whisk in the flour and cook, whisking, for 2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook for about 3 minutes until
