Buttered Breadcrumbs

Ingredients

  • 60 g/2 oz day-old white breadcrumbs
  • 30 g/1 oz butter
  • salt and freshly ground white pepper

Method

Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the breadcrumbs, season with salt and freshly ground white pepper. Fry the breadcrumbs until they are golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper and serve with roast game.
