This sauce, with a Chinese influence, goes extremely well with sautéed prawns, as shown here.

Ingredients

  • teaspoons cornflour
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons<

Method

  1. Dissolve the cornflour in teaspoons water and set aside. Add the remaining ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to the boil.
  2. When the mixture is boiling, lower the heat, whisk in the combined cornflour and water and stir for about 5 minutes, or until thickene
