This purée has a good flavour and is, of course, packed with veggie goodness.


  • 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 cm/½ inch cubes
  • 8 carrots, sliced
  • 1 cauliflower, cut into florets, woody core discar


Steam the sweet potatoes and carrots for 10 minutes, then blitz until smooth (adjust the consistency with boiled water if needed) and set aside.

Steam the cauliflower for 10 minutes, adding the spinach for last 2 minutes. Blitz until smooth (again, adjust the consistency with boiled water if needed). Add to the sweet potato and carrot purée and mix.
