This simple dish of egg noodles with meat sauce is popular among the office crowd and can be found throughout Bangkok, from street vendors as well as in food courts. The egg noodles are the perfect foil for the sauce as they soak up every bit of flavour.

Ingredients

  • 500 g dried egg noodles
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • ¾ cup (180

Method

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling water according to the instructions on the packet. Drain.
  2. Line a salad bowl with lettuce leaves and set aside.
  3. Heat half the amount of oil in a wok over medium heat. Add the garlic and brown lightly.
