Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber, deseeded and diced
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large tomato, deseeded and finely chopped

Method

Put the cucumber in a colander, sprinkle with salt and leave to stand in the sink for 20 minutes.

Rinse the cucumber well and pat dry with kitchen paper. Transfer to a bowl, then add the red onion, tomato and yogurt and mix well. Season with pepper.

If not serving immediately, cover and keep refrigerated for up to 4 hours. Just before serving, season with salt and stir, then dus
