We loved to have these with saucy stews like Govedsko Meso So Kromit (Beef and Onion Stew). My mother would place one potato cake in the bottom of the bowl and ladle the stew over the top. Made a little smaller, these can also be served as mezze.

Ingredients

  • 5–6 russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2 eggs, whisked

Method

Place the potatoes into a pot of cold water with 1 tablespoon of salt and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and boil until cooked through, 7 to 10 minutes.
