Soft and airy, these little buns make great dinner rolls or sandwich bread.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (120 ml) warm water

Method

Place the warm water in a small bowl, add the yeast and ½ teaspoon of the sugar, and stir once. Cover the bowl with a plate and let stand until the yeast begins to foam, about 10 minutes.

In a small saucepan, bring the milk and butter to a simmer. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool until warm.

Place the eggs in a small bowl and, whisking constantly, slowly pour the milk
