Ingredients: 3½ ounces dark chocolate, 70% cocoa solids, broken into small pieces; over-the-top decorations, such as wafers, paper umbrella, morello cherries; crumbled meringues or cookies; ⅓ cup golden syrup or light corn syrup; 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder; ice cream decorations, such as:; ⅓ cup heavy cream; ⅓ cup confectioners’ sugar; strawberries, sliced bananas or other favorite fruit; ½ teaspoon vanilla extract; a pinch salt; whipped cream (this is a bit over the top but if they deserve it, then so be it!)
