Method

Mixing the Dough

Mix rough puff pastry dough by hand or using a food processor.

By-Hand Method

Stir flours and salt in a large bowl. Cut butter into ½-inch pieces and add to flour mixture. Pinch butter and flour between your fingers until mixture is in large pea-sized chunks. Add water and stir with a spoon until dough begins to form.
