A Cold Anchovy Dish

Clean, wash and pat dry the anchovy. Lay them out side by side in a shallow flameproof dish. Add the remaining ingredients except the lemon juice. Cover the dish (using foil if it has no fitted cover) and cook over a moderate heat for 7 or 8 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the lemon juice shortly afterwards, and serve cold.
