This is another Italian version of the previous preparation, here using lemon. In Provence, a canapé such as this one could also be garnished with a caper.

Ingredients

  • Sixty ¼-inch-thick slices French baguette
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise, preferably homemade

Method

Spread the bread slices with the mayonnaise. Place some shrimp on top and flank with 2 triangles of the sliced lemon. Season with salt and serve or refrigerate.
