Method

  1. Pour the evaporated milk into a saucepan and bring to the boil over a medium heat. Tip in the cornflour and sugar, reduce the heat to low and whisk continuously until smooth. Continue to heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until the mixture is slightly thickened.
