  • 100 g shiro (white) miso
  • 65 g light brown sugar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas 6.
  2. Spread the miso in a thin, even layer on a Silpat-lined baking sheet and pop it into the oven for 20 to 30 minutes. The miso should be on the blackened side of browned and should have an incredibly appetizing burnt smel
