Essentially this is a no-work no-cleanup meal—in other words, the ideal Monday-to-Friday recipe. Canned salmon, with its pretty pink color and gentle flavor, is a wonderful and unexpected addition to this soup.
If making the soup for only 1 or 2 eaters, cut the amounts in half, except for the corn of which all should be added so that you aren’t left with half a package of vegetables.
