This Lebanese recipe is perfect with chicken or fish. Choose new season’s beans, for larger stringier varieties will ruin the dish.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the garlic, cinnamon and yoghurt and check for seasoning. Fill a large saucepan with water and bring to the boil. When the water begins to boil, add the green beans and put the lid on. When the water comes back to the boil, simmer for 1–2 minutes then test a bean to see if it is tender.
