  • About

In India we call this haldi doodh. It is very simple and involves milk and turmeric. We drink it for its health-giving properties and it has become the new big fad in the West. To make it sweet and more multi-dimensional in flavour, we add ginger and cinnamon to almond milk as a base.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml/9 fl oz/1 cup almond milk
  • tsp

Method

  1. Heat the almond milk gently in a small saucepan set over a medium heat, taking care not to boil.
  2. Add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, honey and black pepper and whisk gently until light and foamy. Pour into a mug and serve hot.
