The fresh chilli hit at the back of this lassi made it an obvious vehicle for a good shot of tequila. The combination of flavours is lovely, and cheeky. There is a sweet slow start and then the double kick at the end with the heat of Mexico flowing through an Indian staple.


  • 15 ml/½ fl oz blanco tequila
  • 250 ml/8


  1. In a glass of your choice add the tequila, then pour over the lassi and give a small stir with a teaspoon. Finish by garnishing with a small sprinkle of chilli flakes
