This is a great virgin drink for adults, but let’s be honest, it’s perfect for our kiddos too!


  • 1 persimmon (recommend Fuyu variety), peeled and pureed
  • 10 mint leaves, muddled
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 4 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • Crushed ice
  • Lime slices


Place some crushed ice in a high ball glass. Add 3 tablespoons persimmon puree and the muddled mint and lime juice, and top off with lemon-lime soda and stir gently.

Serve garnished with a lime slice and mint sprig.
