Method

Sift the flour into a bowl, make a hollow in the centre and add the remaining ingredients. Knead to a dough soft enough to stick to your hand. Place spoonfuls of dough at intervals in a greased large shallow pan or use a pastry bag with a fluted nozzle to squeeze strips 3.5 cm/
