In Antalya legend has it that the Prophet Mohammed ate pumpkin before ascending to heaven and so this dessert is made and distributed on Mirac, his Ascension Day.

Ingredients

Method

Cut the pumpkin into 2.5 cm/1 inch cubes and place in a shallow pan. Sprinkle with sugar, add the water and cloves and cover.
