  • 1 pound round steak, ground
  • ¼ cup finely diced water chestnuts
  • ½

Method

  1. Combine the meat, water chestnuts, gingerroot, soy sauce, pepper to taste and monosodium glutamate in a mixing bowl. Blend well but lightly with the hands. Shape the mixture into four large patties.

  2. Brown in the oil and cook to desired doneness.
