Ingredients

  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt
  • Β½ cup vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • ΒΌ cup water

Method

  1. Sprinkle the cucumbers lightly with salt and let stand for twenty minutes. Drain.

  2. Heat the vinegar, sugar and water and boil for two minutes. Remove from heat and cool.

  3. Add the cucumbers and let the mixture stand for several hours before serving.
