Ingredients

  • cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
  • ¼ cup<

Method

  1. Wash the cranberries and put them through a food chopper, using the coarse blade. Add the orange rind and sugar. Let stand.

  2. Soften the yeast in the warm water. Set aside.

  3. Add the cornmeal to the boiling water. Cook for three minutes, or until thickened. Remove from heat and add the salt, shortening and molasses. Mix well. Cool to luke
