  • 8 unblemished ripe pears
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 orange

Method

  1. Peel the pears and drop them immediately into water to cover containing the lemon juice.

  2. Peel the orange carefully, removing only the outside rind. Reserve the fruit for another use. Cut the rind into thin slivers.
