Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon<

Method

  1. Preheat oven to hot (400°F.).

  2. Cream the butter until fluffy. Gradually blend in the sugar and aniseeds. Sift flour with baking powder and salt and add to the butter mixture alternately with a mixture of the egg and milk. Mix well.
