  • 4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • teasp

Method

  1. Preheat oven to moderate (375°F.).

  2. Sift together the flour, baking soda, nutmeg and salt. Cream the butter and brown sugar. Beat the eggs into the butter mixture. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk. Stir in the raisins and nuts.
