  • ½ cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • cups rolled oats, either quick-cooking or old-fashioned
  • ¼

Method

  1. Preheat oven to moderate (375°F.).

  2. Mix together the flour, oats, sugar and baking soda. Melt the butter with the syrup and add to the dry ingredients.

  3. Place teaspoons of the batter two inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
