  • 2 pounds creamed cottage cheese
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 3 tablespoons minced candied orange peel
  • 2 tablespoons chopped citron
  • ½ cup grated semisweet chocolate
  • Baked Pie Pastry, 9 inches


  1. Sieve or whip the cottage cheese until smooth.

  2. Add the sugar, lemon rind, orange peel, citron and chocolate. Chill.

  3. Turn the mixture into the baked pie shell. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon or garnish with whipped cream.
