  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • cup

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the cornstarch and stir until smooth.

  2. Add the honey and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for about five minutes. Add almonds if desired.

  3. Serve the sauce warm or cold over ice cream or unfrosted cake.
