  • ΒΎ cup canned applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange rind
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2ΒΌ cups milk
  • 3 small scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Orange slices


  1. Combine the applesauce, orange rind, sugar, milk, ice cream and ice cubes in the container of an electric blender. Blend for one minute, or until frothy.

  2. To serve, pour into chilled glasses and garnish with orange slices.
