  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 2 to 3 ounces light rum
  • 1 to 2 ounces grenadine syrup
  • 2 or 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Crushed ice
  • Club soda
  • Lime slice, fresh mint sprig, fresh pineapple stick


  1. Combine the lime juice, rum, grenadine and bitters. Pour over crushed ice in a tumbler. Fill with club soda and stir briskly to frost the glass lightly.

  2. Garnish the glass with a slice of lime, a sprig of fresh mint, and a pineapple stick to use as a stirrer.
