The tomato sauce on New York–style pizzas is a little sweeter and more seasoned than the clean, simple San Marzano tomato sauce of Neapolitan pizzas. This no-cook sauce comes together in virtually no time. One batch is enough for several pizzas, so keep the extra sauce in your refrigerator for the next time you make pizza.
Combine everything in a medium bowl. Use a handheld immersion blender, food processor, or blender to purée until almost smooth.
