When King Umberto pizzaioloGiovanni Cesarano—son of legendary pizza maker Ciro Cesarano and a highly respected pizza maker himself—won the gluten-free division of the prestigious 2018 Caputo Cup, he did it with a Sicilian pie topped with vodka sauce. We don’t have his secret recipe, but the idea and the flavors were too good not to honor him with a version of our own.
