  • 1 cup (240 ml) balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Method

Heat the vinegar and maple syrup in a small saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until the mixture has reduced by ⅔ and coats the back of a spoon. Use immediately or store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
