  • 1 tablespoon cardamom seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • A 2-inch piece cinnamon stick
  • ½ teaspoon grated nutmeg


    Grind the cardamom seeds, peppercorns, cumin seeds, cloves, and cinnamon in a spice mill. Transfer to a small jar and stir in the nutmeg.
