‘Seven Fruits’

Haft mewa literally translates as ‘seven fruits’ and is a type of compote comprising a selection of dried fruit and nuts, steeped in water until their flavours and natural sweetness emerge and combine. Traditionally, it is made once a year to mark the ritual of Nowroz.
