This tart has a rich, creamy, coffee-flavoured filling. It’s very good served with chocolate sauce.
First make the pastry. Sift the flour onto a work surface and make a well in the centre. Put the butter, salt, sugar and lemon zest in the well and then add the egg. With your fingertips, gradually bring the flour into the centre, blending in the butter until all the ingredients come together to form a soft dough.
