  1. In a large pot, heat half the oil until very hot. Add the beef mince, season with salt and pepper, and brown for 10 minutes, or until the liquid from the meat has evaporated. Strain off the fat and set the meat aside. Heat the remaining oil, add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, without colouring. Add the tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, then add the wine and cook for
