These aren’t anything like croissants or the Viennese Ischler Kipferl, but they are a traditional pastry nonetheless. Here the Viennese Danish Dough is spread with an almond filling, folded, creased into a vague crescent shape, then strewn with flaked almonds. It’s creamy, crunchy and sweet all at the same time - and thoroughly delicious.
